Log Sanitizer

Redact JWTs, API keys, emails, IPs, and tokens from logs before sharing. Toggleable rules — everything stays in your browser.

Introduction

Log Sanitizer is a free, browser-based utility in our Text Tools collection. Paste logs or text and redact common secrets and PII with toggleable rules: JWTs, Bearer tokens, API key assignments, emails, IPv4 addresses, credit-card-like numbers, AWS access key IDs, and password/token query params. Log Sanitizer prepares support pastes and incident snippets by replacing likely secrets with clear [REDACTED_*] tokens. Rules are heuristic — always review output — but far faster than ad-hoc find and replace when scrubbing Authorization headers, JWTs, and emails. Pair with HAR Analyzer when cleaning network captures. Everything runs locally in your browser — inputs stay on your device, with no account or upload required. Highlights include toggleable redaction rules.
